An attractive job opportunities and an acclaimed leader in the rapidly growing field of education, Grand Canyon University is currently looking for a talented, energetic Irvine, CA University Development Counselor to our traditional ground campus.


The University Development Counselor working as part of a team to recruit potential Community College students in the area to attend classes at our main campus in Phoenix, Arizona. You must be able to network and build relationships with faculty and staff at the Community Colleges and engage all major stakeholders in the region. You will be responsible for maintaining a work schedule that includes the ceremony, school visits, presentations, community / campus events, and hosting campus visits. Salary: $ 55,500 Responsibilities: publicize and market the GCU programs to schools, students and parents or onsite visits and events. Building a pipeline of possible students and complete student registration process from lead generation through the start of class.


Manage territory and implement recruitment strategies to increase prospective student inquiries and enrollments within new and existing accounts. Communicate with campus departments and leadership regarding new opportunities in the region. Create and execute event and activity plans, which includes conducting informational and sales presentations. Maintain inquiry database and reports. Meet or exceed monthly enrollment goals/expectations and analyze trends to improve performance. Maintain high level of customer service and student retention rate. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Strong field sales or business development experience.

Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
